DemTalk is a free, web-based communication toolkit to help improve interactions involving people living with Dementia (PLWDs).
This multilingual version was developed in collaboration with linguists from the University of Malaya and Newcastle University, UK, the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM), family caregivers and professionals involved in care provision for people living with dementia.
The original English version was produced by teams of stakeholders including communication researchers, technology designers, health and social care experts, carers and people living with dementia in a project facilitated by experts from Newcastle University, Barchester Healthcare and Cardiff and Valleys National Health Service Trust and the Alzheimer’s Society UK.
